Pretty In Pink Studio Gets A Makeover

December 4, 2013

My good friend, Jenna Scanlan, approached me and expressed that her Pretty In Pink Studio needed a makeover. Being an aesthetics shop, this was a usual procedure for her. Located in Hamilton’s quaint Westdale Village, Jenna wanted to create an environment that was cozy, contemporary and welcoming for all her clients. She explained that this was a place not only for women to enjoy her aesthetic services but also men. Like many entrepreneurs, we had a budget in mind, which allowed us to be more creative with the existing surroundings and how to improve them. With the help of her dad, the owner of Scanlan Contracting, brothers, fiance and her own hands, the team transformed this studio space into a fresh, funky and artisanal atmosphere.

During the renovation, things like this were happening…according to Pretty In Pink’s Instagram.

Fixtures hung.

The chaos of moving out of the aesthetics room.
The old fixtures now sprayed gold.

New counters and backsplash.

Andy finalizing the new pedicure platform.

More tiling.
And finally, after weeks of painting, building, trimming and re-organizing, Pretty In Pink Studio is just that…pretty! (And has a pink ceiling.)

Pretty In Pink is happy to offer Reno Readers a promotion. Isn’t that sweet? If you would like to book any service (the list is HERE), email Jenna at info@prettyinpink.ca. Use the promo code pinkreno to receive 20% off your services. (Appointment inquires must be made by December 20th, 2014 to receive the promotion).
And finally, if you want to visit Pretty In Pink in person, Westdale is having their Winter Wander event Friday December 13th. This is a chance for you to explore all the great shops and buy christmas gifts for your loved ones. Have fun!
(Thanks for letting me be a part of this journey with you, Jenna!)
