Double Framed

I was given a fabulous old, antique frame from a friend of mine (Thank you Aaron!). He had it laying around, to which then it proceeded to hang around my place. Originally, I thought that I would turn it into a chalk or cork board, but I already crafted one of those up. A post on that later…

So what was going to come of this frame now? With it’s turned out corners and detail, I wasn’t sure where it would fit in? I considered painting it a bold colour and maybe I still will. In the end, I decided to use it as it main purpose, to frame. I framed a frame with an older frame! I helps give the smaller piece look bigger and adds interest. Pretty simple. Now if I had only thought of this sooner….
