Like most, I generally cannot get into the Christmas spirit until either December 1st or the first snowfall. This year, I had to change gears. In August, the Junior League of Hamilton Burlington approached Interior Works (my full time gig) to be a part of the Holiday house tour. That’s right, August. We had to start thinking of Christmas decor…in August! Nevertheless, it was for a good cause, so of course we said yes!
The Junior League is an international group of dynamic women who volunteer their time and efforts to support their local communities and groups. Not only are they celebrating their 30th anniversary for the Holiday house tour, but Junior League has been around for over 100 years! Way to go ladies!
For the past few days, many decorators, designers and lovely volunteers have been working hard to finesse the volunteered homes for the tour that begins today. It runs November 9-11, with five houses decked to the nines with Christmas decor.
Here is a sneak of what we whipped together for the event. Our home is on Crofton Way in Burlington. A big thank you to the homeowners who have been extremely gracious and generous with their space!
Please come out and join us on this fabulous tour. Not only will you find some Christmas decor inspiration, you will also be giving back to your community! For more information on ticket sales, CLICK HERE.
Hope to see you there!
