Oh! This one is a goodie!! My client ,with Interior Works, needed rescuing from her pink bathroom, and badly. Not only was her ensuite cramped, it was entirely pink and carpeted! A bathroom is a place carpet should never go. Ever. Pink bathrooms are a thing of the past, unless you belong to this site, Save The Pink Bathroom, which is actually pro-pink. My client found the site and we had a real chuckle over it! See for yourself. But before you do that, check out the transformation of this outdated, vintage pink ensuite…
Before (Do you see the etched swan detail in the shower door?!) |
After |
Although we weren’t able to move any walls in this pint size ensuite, we were able to knock out the old shower encasement to create the illusion of more space. A functional vanity and built in (manufactured by Interior Works, of course!) added useful storage which my client was lacking. It’s all about drawers, drawers, drawers to maximize storage!
The shower was built in with walls. |
A glass shower surround allows the room to feel bigger. |
A “no-threshold” shower with a hexagon inlay. My favourite part of the ensuite! |
Personal items did not have a place to hide… |
…until now. |
Pink tile wainscotting |
Simple, white subway tile with a border accent.
A big thank you to my clients who were gracious enough to supply me with the photos of the before and afters! What a fabulous transformation! Another pink bathroom bites the dust. Sorry pink bathroom warriors…
And hey! Don’t forget…you can show off your reno project too! If you have some impressive before/after shots, contact me here…
