Happy thanksgiving to all of those south of the border from me. Some of you may be wondering why I am writing a thankful post during American Thanksgiving instead of the Canadian holiday. To be honest, it’s was lack of time. I was at a fabulous wedding weekend away in Montreal that allowed me to miss the plethora of feasts that usually occurs each year during Canadian thanksgiving. So instead, here I am giving thanks regardless of who is celebrating what. We should always be thankful, right?

So what am I thankful for this year?
I am thankful for the love and support always given by my family and friends. Deciding to finally break free of my stable day job and finally take on KMSalter Design full time has been more exciting, scary, fulfilling and gratifying than I ever expected. I am grateful for all of my new connections, clients and colleagues that have helped make this dream a reality. Believe in your dreams. If you manifest them enough, they really can come true.
I am thankful for the generosity of my parents and many who have embraced the announcement of my marriage to my Nicholas. We are now 5 months deep into our engagement and the amount of effortless love from people has been mind blowing. It really makes you realize all the amazing people that surround you when a milestone like this happens in your life. I am going to end my post here with that thought. Love is the one thing that I am thankful for all year long. If I didn’t have love in my life, from my soulmate love, family love, friend love and industry love, I am not sure I would feel as whole as I do now.
So love is what I am thankful for. Thank you all for all your love. I send it right back.
